Raquel Gama

In London, at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Raquel attended the course “Acting in Musical Theatre Drama Summer School” (2011). She is presently getting a Master’s Degree in Music Teaching, minoring in Singing, in Lisbon, under the tutoring of Professor Doutor João Lourenço. Raquel graduated in Music, minor in Singing, at Universidade de Évora (2011), with the teacher Liliana Bizineche. At six years old started taking classes at Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian, Braga (CMCGB), where she finished the 12th grade, as well as the 8th grade in (transversal) flute, 3rd grade in Singing and 3rd grade in Piano (2008).

Raquel took part in varied singing courses, as well as in the International Seminars “Escola de Música da Sé de Évora”, under the guidance of the maestros Owen Rees, Peter Phillips, Paul van Nevel, Paulo Lorenço and Pedro Teixeira.
She was a co-founder and still takes part in “Ensemble Vocal Manuel Mendes”, under the direction of Christopher Bochman, as well as the choir “Eborae Musica”. At the Fauré’s Requiem, by the orchestra and choir of the Universidade de Évora, directed by Christopher Bochman, she presented as a solo singer.
Musicals in which she acted – “A Little Night Music”, “Dido and Aeneas” and “The Music Man” (CMCGB).

Raquel collaborated with OJ.COM orchestra and choir (2007), at Casa da Música and Centro Cultural de Belém, with the maestro Nicholas Kok; got the position as head of flute suit in the wind instruments orchestra FTDBE. Co-founder and member of Sinfonieta de Braga.
She collaborated in the production of the CD – “Sons para Guitarra da Boneca”.
