Natalia Grossmannová

Natália Grossmannová was born in 1985, in Ostrava – Czech Republic. She began her musical studies at the age of six, in piano, with prof. Markéta Vartová and at eight, she won the regional prize Opava, being selected to participate in the national festival “Janáčkův Máj”, in homage to the czech composer Leoš Janáček.
At 12, she joined the Professional Arts School of Mirandela, in the flute class of prof. Inês Fernandes. Finishing her studies in this school with the highest marks in 20013, she proceeded to Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, with prof. Olavo Barros (flute) and prof. Olga Prats and prof. Nuno Inácio (chamber music). She concluded her degree in 2007 with 18 values.
In 2008 she was admitted in the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg – Germany, in the class of Dr. Prof. Mirjam Nastasi. In 2010 she concluded the Artistic Degree (“Künstlerische Ausbildung Diplom”). Between 2012 and 2014, studied with prof. Nuno Inácio at the portuguese Superior National Orchestra Academy.
Natália had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Orquestra Sinfónica from Escola Superior de Música and with Orquestra de Sintra.
She has also collaborated with many orchestras and ensembles, namely Lisbon Film Orchestra, Orquestra do Algarve, Orquestra de Câmara de Sintra, A2M, Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa and Orquestra de Câmara de Almada.
She keeps a regular activity within chamber music and performed many composers’ premieres, with special focus to a concert at the Graz University’s International Week and to the Trio Persona’s presentation (flute, oboe and piano) at the International Contemporary Music Festival of Kromeriz – Czech Republic.
Natália participated on the recording of albums such as the composer Sérgio Azevedo’s works with Orquestra de Câmara de Cascais e Oeiras.
Currently, Natália is completing her Master’s degree in Music Teaching at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. She is member of Orquestra de Câmara de Cascais e Oeiras, as well as Sinfónica de Cascais. She also teaches at Conservatório de Música D. Dinis and Conservatório de Lisboa.
