Margarida Rendeiro was born in 1986 in Lisbon. She began her musical studies at the age of thirteen at the Amadora Commerce and Industry Philharmonic Society (SFCIA), in euphonium and later carried over to trumpet.
In 2001, she joined the Music School of the National Conservatory in Lisbon, where she completed the Ancillary Course of Trumpet (8th grade) in Professor Nelson Rocha’s class in 2009, along with Musical Training and Ensemble Class (Choir, Orchestra of Wind Instruments and String Orchestra).
During this training she participated in courses of Trumpet improvement with the teachers Pierre Badel and Nelson Rocha. Also in 2009, she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Sciences at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Universidade Nova of Lisboa, where she also completed a Post-Graduation in Music Sciences in the area of ethnomusicology, completed in 2012.
In 2016 she enrolled in the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, attending the Master’s Degree in Music Teaching in the field of Music and Ensemble Formation.
Since 2009 she teaches the disciplines of Musical Expression, Orff Ensemble and Music Theory.
