This ancient keyboard instrument produces the sound of pinched strings through an interesting mechanism inside. With a unique timbre, the harpsichord produces always the same intensity of sound, whether you use more or less pressure on the keys. Just like the piano, the harpsichord music sheets have a treble clef for the right hand and the bass clef for the left hand, which are read simultaneously (as the hands too play simultaneously).
