On July 22, the OCCO will participated in Carniarmonie Festival, in Tuscany, Italy, with a concert titled Iberian Music.
After her maginificant recital in Weil Hall in 2006 and the excellent revew from New York Sun Jornal,the soloist of OCCO Lilia Donkova appears again on the stage of Carnegie Hall complex. This time and and due to a special invitation she played the violin concerto Nº 3 by W.A.Mozart under the direction of the famous English composer and conductor John Rutter and was accompanied by the Orchestra of New England. The Concert took place on 27th of June 2010 in STERN AUDITORIUM
Proof of her excellent performance were the long applauses from the audience which completely filled one of the most emblematic concert halls in the world with over then 2800 seats.
With a constant presence in recent years on the biggest stages of classical music in Europe (Auditorium Verdi in Milano, Queen Elizabeth Hall in London among others) Lilia Donkova continues her successful career with performances next months as a soloist of prestigious European orchestras and concerts in Prague (A Smetana Hall), Arena di Verona in Italy and others.
The Chamber Orchestra of Cascais and Oeiras presents the next day June 11, Friday, 22.00 Concert "New Paths."
In the Auditorium of the António Aleixo Cultural Centre , in Vila Real de Santo António, Algarve.
The Chamber Orchestra of Cascais and Oeiras held on May 29th a concert in support of the National Association of Cystic Fibrosis thus joining this noble cause.
The Chamber Orchestra of Cascais and Oeiras - OCCO - was invited to participate at the 41st International Music Festival in Sofia - Bulgaria "Sofia Music Weeks".
